I Love Techno for the Eleventh Time

This year, on October the 21st, techno lovers will celebrate the 11th edition of one of the biggest techno events in Europe. I Love Techno will take place as usual at Flanders Expo, in Gent, Belgium. Names like James Holden, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Kraftwerk, Tiefschwarz and many others will keep the crowd dancing form dusk till dawn.

The festival has grown a lot since it first started in 1995 so seven rooms and more than 30 djs, leading techno figures and newcomers, is what I Love Techno has prepared for its visitors at this year's edition. Each room can hold 5.000 visitors; once this limit has been reached, the doors will be closed and people will only be able to get out, not in. This means that not all visitors can come and watch one and the same artist at the same time. Some acts are broadcasted live in the Switch Video Room.

A new feature this year is the Switch Video Room, it will be a big round area in the centre of the venue with video screens all around and a complete light-en sound installation comparable with the ones in the other 5 rooms! The tickets cost 43€ on presale and 48€ at the entrance. They can be bought on line, from the official site, www.ilovetechno.be, or from record shops and ticket shops from Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland and of course Belgium.

The festival will begin on Saturday afetrnoon, at 7 o'clock, but the doors will be opened starting with 18:30. The minimum participation age is 16.
