Fred Numf and Etienne Overdijk just finished their new single "Hear An Echo". On this single you will hear the vocals of Birgitte Birnie. Fred and Etienne created a "dub" version as well.....watch out for this one!! This single will be released on a American label. We will update you soon on all label details. Fred and Etienne also close finishing their new single for the UK market. "Someskunkphunk" will be released on a UK label. The idea is to have 2 separate releases in the UK and USA. More details about this release later.
UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE:
Who can't remember Fred's "Universal Language series". 2 double CD's where released on Black Hole records in 2001 and 2002. Both where very successful and both series still sell. The CD market went down due the enormous illegal downloads and Fred decided that it was not an good idea to release another series in 2003.
Now the market is a little better Fred will look into the possibilities to continue his "Universal Language" series.
PERPETUAL TUNES:
This will be the 7th release on Fred's Perpetual Tune label which he started with his partner Etienne Overdijk. Mike Hiratzka's single with a remix of Fred Numf and Etienne Overdijk will be out in the second week of July.
Some details:
It's been just over a year since Mike re-located from Orlando to Los Angeles, where he has been creating quite a buzz with his world-class production and infectious, crowd-pleasing DJ sets. He has become a regular guest DJ at Spundae's weekly at the LA superclub Circus, including dates playing alongside Richie Hawtin, Erick Morillo, Max Graham and BT.
On the production side of things, Mike has been very busy this year, with his releases on Alternative Route, Propulsion Records and Convert Recordings all receiving big support from DJs worldwide and getting top reviews!
'Reach Out To Me' is Mike's first solo outing, and also features Mike on vocals. The remix, by Fred Numf and Etienne Overdijk, has been signed to mix CDs from Marco V "Combinations"***., Ben Lost and Goldenscan "TranceAirWaves" and Misja Helsloot's "Back From the past". The original mix was already included on Fred Numf's "Universal Language 2".
*** On the CD of Marco V is the track written as "Carambola – Pinball Wizard", it was an artwork mistake unfortunately.
